Yeah!!! Stitchawl's back!!!!

Working on pot one of Rooibos Capetown. Getting myself psyched up for the 11th anniversary of my 29th birthday on Thursday. So far I plan on sleeping in, playing with the dogs, and eating a huge steak dinner with my hubby at our favorite restaurant.

I am also preparing for work to screw with my plan and not allow me to sleep in and play with the dogs all day.

I have no energy today, everything seems too much. I don't even like the heat right now . I feel as if my own internal air conditioning does not work.

Water, really cold, hoping to recover until tomorrow because it is going to be a hell of a week and I need my groove back.

What a fantastic morning! 22 degrees, blue skies, gentle breeze... Perfect day for a road trip! Just a day ride through the mountains around Kyoto, but hey... I don't need more than that to make me happy!

Good morning, all! Fall is in the air, but I know it's just a tease. We don't really see the leaves begin to change for another month or two, and the Maples won't be turning red until December! But it sure 'feels' like Fall, so I'm going to burn some Balsam Fir incense, drink some 'Lapsang Souchong' tea from McNultey's Tea & Coffee, and get ready to ride!

Rough day today, but finished up with a tasting of Oban 14yr against Glenmorangie d'Or. A toss up. The Glenmorangie has interesting notes from the Sauternes casks, but the Oban has more peat and smokiness.
