Question Great! Lost my PRS-650 :(
Looks like I managed to loose my reader... either on an airplane somewhere or at a hotel

Question is, should I use one of the old ones and wait? Or do you all think Sony will take a year or more to come out with new units and I should just get another 650??

The PRS-T1 that is getting FCC approval is going to have wifi, a headphone jack, and a micro SD slot. That's all we know about it so far. We do not know if it's a 6" 7" model. Just that it's a new model. Given that Sony has asked for secrecy till the beginning of September, my guess is that Sony will announce in September the new Readers and start shipping in October.

I forgot mine (650) in the plane... address and everything was inside. I hope the new owner is enjoying it...

Can't wait for the new one to be available...

I left my 650 on a plane once. It was one of those airports where you need to get a bus to the terminal building. As I was stood waiting on the bus, one of the stewardesses came out of the plane with my 650 and reunited me with it.

It was a Lufthansa plane - karma to them from me
