PRS-600 PRS+ dictionary issue

I have installed PRS+ 2.012beta in my PRS-600. The dictionary is not working at all. I can choose the dictionary, it displays blank when I double click a word. I am using the built-in English dictionaries. Does anybody have the same issue? What is the workaround?

Which version of the reader do you have?
Some models had a bit different dictionary files, but that was fixed a while ago.

kartu: Thanks! I have PRS-600 US version. I updated firmware and prs+ accordingly. Do you know any way I can debug the problem?

First thing I'd suggest is to boot in "safe mode" (with USB connected during boot) so that PRS+ doesn't start at all.
Check if that helps (PRS+ funcitonality would be gone but you could test if dicitonary works).

kartu: Thanks for the test method. I have tried. The dictionary is completely fine without prs+. So the prs+ apparently breaks the dictionary functions. Do you have any idea of a workaround?

Is that a Spanish dictionary?

No. It is the reader built-in dictionary: Oxford American Dictionary. I never used any other dictionaries.

Budalb,

put the prps.sh file from the attached zip file into:

/database/system/PRSPlus

folder (create if missing, it is case sensitive)
And restart the reader. "dict.log" and "LIBRARY.MBF" should appear in internal memory after restart, send them to me please.
