Well, our three days of rain this week totalled 1.4 inches. It was the first measurable rainfall since June 22. On average, we would normally have received one inch per week over that time. Got a match? Let's just toast this place and get it over with.

Meanwhile, down under, light white puffy clouds blew across a beautiful blue sky all day. A fire on the freeway diverted all traffic through the old highway I take home everyday and instead of 20 minutes it took over an hour. But the serious truck crash down in Wollongong on the Mt Ousley Road (Only one of three ways into the city from the North) caused absolute chaos.

It's actually 20 degrees!! Yippee! I can't wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, my brand new riding jacket and leather gloves... without perforations! I can even go back to full leather boots!!!


If it warms up again tomorrow I'll shoot somebody.

Periodic torrential rains! Streets flooded last night - water was pouring OUT of the storm drains back into the roads. More monsoons today & tomorrow.
Humidity is so high - I have to run the defroster to keep the windshield clear - and then my glasses fog up when I get out of the car!
