There is nothing wrong with tastes changing. I love tea but I tend to drink 90% of my tea at work. It is better for me then soda, my old stand by. And they run the AC during the winter so it helps keep me warm. I go through two to three teas a day. I always start with a Rooibos and then will have some type of Oolong, or black, or green, or Pu Erh. I think I am going to ignore my bosses comment and bring back my tea kettle. I was drinking more varieties of teas when I could trust the temperature. |

Coke Zero #3 is underway, chasing down the pint of water, and some lemon squash that I had at the blood donor session.

Cuppa #3
Post lunch cooked Pu-Erh. Re: different types of tea. I am new into it. At the end of coming October it is going to be 1 year since I really started drinking teas. I gave up on tea bags for breakfast only in March. So, I learn. I cannot say whether I prefer black, blue or green tea. It depends on time of day. In the first half of the day I drink only good (for my palate) black, such as Assam or blends of Assam and other types from The East India Company or Fortnum and Mason, or China black such as Keemun or Yunnan. I dislike any hint of bergamot or darjeeling *shiver*. After 14.00 I drink green or oolong teas. Oolong teas are so different, that one might say that they encompass tea types from almost green to almost black ![]() Japanese - so far, I really love Sencha. Don't like Gyokuro and Kabusecha. Have not decided on Bancha Houjicha yet, but I know I am not a big fan of it. Right after lunch and dinner I love Pu-Erh, either green or cooked. I don't like any scented or flower or herbal teas. I am sure of one thing. If I were to choose only one type of tea, it would be black tea that I mentioned above. Not even China Black. Last summer I have been away for two weeks. No tea at all. When I came back, I drank only black tea for 4 days until I satiated myself. Then I started to add other types ![]() ![]() |

If I had to choose one type of tea it would be Oolong. I prefer the Oolongs that are closer to a green tea but there are some really good Oolongs that are closer to a black tea. They are just yummy and they resteep really well.

I keep forgetting to come to the Lounge to post. It's been so long!
Monster again. I'm exhausted and need the pick-me-up! I'm so happy with my new PRS-350 cover that I got on Amazon that I just have to squee a bit! It's such soft leather and fits like a glove. The only thing I didn't like was the white stitching on the black leather. I took an ink pen with good flow and "colored" the stitching, wiping off the excess ink on the leather with a damp paper towel. Now the threads are stained black like the rest of it and it looks perfect! Huzzah! |

I finished second infusion of the tea above. Basically the same flavour. Finishing the last cup for today coincided with finishing watching the last film in The Millennium trilogy. Off to bed. |

Water, coffee, green smoothie, and my day gets rolling.
I am now spending half the day of almost everyday on the building site, fighting (not really, I like those guys) in spanish (me. They speak an andalusian dialect ![]() ![]() I realize I need to start packing everything in boxes again. Me no likey. I wish I would meet a genie that would give me three wishes. The first I would use to be moved without doing a thing. The second for everything to work flawlessly in the new house. The third for being the blond girl in that ad for a Norwegian bank, which happens to be hilarious: Youtube DnB NOR Clooney |
