That I don't know - I was hoping perhaps you might have found some useful links from there - obviously not .

it's a pity you don't want just his poems - they seem to be littered everywhere .

The only place I've noticed the Tree is as part of Volume One of a story compilation - and that was in print form only .

dang.You sounded so secure.Hmm........and yes,his poems seem to be rather omnipresent.And just when the description Lovecraft gives of the plot is so tempting-"The Tree, which tells of a frightful vegetable growth in the yard of a starving artist"

We should get Alex to get us a set of rating smilies that only need one click. For example if one wishes to express 6 out of ten, the you'd have a line of ten smilies with the last four ones ghosted.

Great idea, Yvan. Creating our own out of smilies available now seems unlikely to gain acceptance.

i don't know, VR ; i'd be pretty interested in reading any book which fulfills nekokami's criteria for this rating :

also, like lists, i'm really not good at ascribing qualitative numerical values to abstract sensory / intellectual experiences like books (or movies, or hot boys, or whatever), so if i would end up coloring in more or less random numbers of smileys.

The only question is how many eeks versus smacks versus smileys, etc. Let's see, Far From the Ever-Maddening Crowd is worth, oh, I don't know, maybe one smiley, four eeks, and a couple smacks (no grins). Would that do?

no grins ? not a single chin-scratch ?? based on that rating, i'll *never* add it to my reading list.
