Probably not worth it if you want a significant number of them; cheaper to buy the books that contain them.

They seem to be $2.99 now. Not worth it for a single short story. In my opinion. A real shocker is the Poirot shortie "The Under Dog" at $5.19 !!!

As a matter of interest, how much does the book "The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding" cost for you? This contains this short story, along with five others. Most of the other Poirot shorts are in "Poirot's Early Cases".

These singles are $1.15 in Canada (but that's US dollars and with Canadian HST applied). So, it's actually the same price 99¢ US.

Poirot's Early Cases is $6.99 plus taxes and exchange or $8.03.

In the UK the short stories are £0.49 each, better than the US prices.

But then, her books are £3.99, about the same as the US prices. There are usually 8 or more short stories in each of the collections of short stories, so buying the books is still better value.

And the couple of omnibus (three books in one) volumes at £7.99 are even better value.

But if you look at your earlier post, you say that it contains 6 longer stories, but you've only listed 5 . The other one is "The Under Dog". AFAIK, the contents have always been the same - at least in the British edition of the book.

I must have accidentally cut it (when I pasted in the longer title for the first story). I had counted six and didn't even look at it again when you said I was missing The Under Dog.

Oddly, the description says 7 capers, but all the listings show only 6 stories... so I assumed that the missing 7th story was the one you were referring to (note to self - go back and read what you've actually posted).

The link in the OP doesn't work for me anymore.

I came across this list on a, er, book site. It gives every Christie short story and the minimum number of books needed to get them.

I hope I've added it correctly.
