But not for me. I have paid apps on Google Market that I want and need. To the best of my knowledge, most of these haven't been available for free at any point on the Amazon market. And I don't want or intend to buy them all over again just for the privilege of having them on the Amazon Market too. That's just my humble opinion.

If they don't exist in both markets, I'd say there's a good chance they will eventually, especially of Amazon's tab sells. If. Their appstore already has 15,000 apps and they haven't even released a device. If it's a success, that number will explode. If.

Now when 10.1 Amazon branded, hopefully not a kindle branded, tablet comes out, then we could be seeing some serious sales in the tablet market

Mybe Amazon wont shut out the Android Market, but won't exactly go out of its way to encourage it either (can you download the Google store app by just going to the website?), and may even label apps on the Amazon Appstore as "Optimized for the Amazon Thingamajig." Maybe even go so far as to not offer support for issues related to non-amazon sold apps.
