I've seen a lot of Nook Color users mention it in various places, and I think Kobo's Android app actually does it, but I'd love my reader to have a widget displaying the covers of my most recently opened book(s), ideally with some sort of progress indicator. Obviously, tapping any book displayed in the widget would open that book to your last page. Options for size, orientation, and number of books displayed would be great, but even a basic, take-it-or-leave-it widget would be a selling point, especially for tablet users.

I love Mantano REader on my Galaxy Tab 7". Almost perfect for EPUB and PDF both.
I have one wish (please!): To be able to highlight and copy text to clipboard with one click/action. Or at least, that the marked passage stays marked after I highlighted it, so that I can copy it with only one more click, rather than having to mark it again (as it is now). BTW, in RepliGo and ezPDF passages stay marked after highlighting them and can be copied with one extra touch. (I use Clipper+ to collect all copied text parts into one file for export. Clipper+ has some usability issues for me, but it gets the job done.) Of course it would be even handier if Mantano itself took care of collecting my highlighted passages automatically into a separate export file! Background is: reading non-fiction textbooks and writing articles, so I always need to excerpt quotes from the books I read. For me, highlighting (or underlining, don't care which) should always automatically excerpt that passage (or at least copy to clipboard). |

Still no joy in getting the application. I went through all the Marketplace suggestions. I can see it on the Market. And no answer from Mantano. Guess my first buy on the Market is a bust! Lost my $7.49 to Mantano - I wish them much luck, but I won't be using their application - since I can only pay for it, not download it!

I'm working for Matnano. I was not aware of your case. I will check with the team tomorrow and try to find a solution. In any case, ifwe fail, you'll get a refund. Cheers, Karina |

I've found that I can get ebooks to use the correct fonts by:
1. Format the document with the desired font family. 2. Save the document as "Web Page, Filtered" 3. Place the font files for the desired font family in a /Mantano/fonts subdirectory under the main /Mantano directory. 4. Save the following code in the Calibre "Extra CSS" box: @font-face{font-family:"Gentium Book Basic";font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;src:url(res:///fonts/GentiumBookBasic-Regular.ttf)} @font-face{font-family:"Gentium Book Basic";font-style:italic;font-weight:normal;src:url(res:///fonts/GentiumBookBasic-Italic.ttf)} @font-face{font-family:"Gentium Book Basic";font-style:normal;font-weight:bold;src:url(res:///fonts/GentiumBookBasic-Bold.ttf)} @font-face{font-family:"Gentium Book Basic";font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;src:url(res:///fonts/GentiumBookBasic-BoldItalic.ttf)} (Obviously, change the names to fit your chosen font family) 5. Import filtered-HTML document into Calibre and convert to ePub. |

Calibre OPDS
Will Mantano ever support Calibre OPDS? That is really the only thing that keeps this from being the perfect app for me. I have a Nook Color w/CM7, but my computer won't recognize it with the microSD card in. So at the moment I have to take the card out, download books to the Nook app, then replace the card and sync to get my books in Mantano. Oh, so much work to read a book...
![]() Anyway, just wanted to put my vote in for that! Mary |

By the way, their forums seem to have disappeared in the past couple of days - anyone know anything about that? Cheers, Carl. |
