seriously ?? i bow to your greatness, in humble admiration. i am really terrible at memorizing things (it's funny, the words to *all* my favorite songs seem to be "lalala lala". you'd think *someone* would have gotten an original idea, wouldn't you ?), but if i weren't i would want to memorize Jabberwocky.

My secret is writing what I want to memorize over and over, after a while you don't have to look at the original any more.

This same technique got me through High School History and Geography (fact laden subjects) and to a smaller degree English Lit (Shakespeare, in particular). I used to write in different sizes too i.e first run through was normal writing; second re-write was small print to cram more on one line; ... last re-writes were miniscule print with only the 'pertinent' parts!

For the Maths and Sciences, it didn't help as much, but that may be because that was where my main interests lay (laid?).
