I read about this.

I think that he was talking about one of his key advisors who went there (can't recall the name)? He also mentioned Xena the Warrior Princess for reasons which I can't recall

Very good, Bilbo! He was referring to Helen Clark, who had three terms as Prime Minister of New Zealand and now works for the UN. The quote in full:

Philo Farnsworth was an American inventor and television pioneer.
