They just keep releasing better and better android devices. I was thinking I will get the new 7.7inch tab Samoled display but now this Galaxy Note 5.3" It's got a 1280 x 800 Super AMOLED display looks interesting as well.

5.3 inches may actually be the perfect size for being good at nothing. They really had to do their homework to achieve that. It's almost admirable.

5.3" is too big for some things and too small for others. There is no happy medium. It's the wrong size for everything.

The 7 inch device was just pulled from the show in Germany because of patent fight with Apple.

It works wonderfully as a phone big enough to read on, and big enough to see the GPS map.

Two years ago, there was a die hard segment screaming that any phone bigger than the original iPhone was "too big" and "not marketable". The assertion was silly even then given the size of the landline phones which are still around, and it continues to lose ground.

It's all a tradeoff between usability and portability.

It's a pocket-size tablet, nothing wrong with that, though I agree it's probably serving a niche market.
Samsung are pumping out sexy devices, I hope they manage to stop apple's nonsense and keep on pushing the envelope with their devices.

Yes chances are I will be getting this phone when it comes out. My two year should almost be over.

I am interested in this too. I use a BT headset for 90% of my calls; so holding a 5" phone/tablet to my ear isn't an issue.

My biggest concern is that this will probably be a 2 handed device ... there are many times when I like to use my phone with one hand ...

Big AND a stylus silo. Oddly, since switching to Android, I've actually been using my stylus more than when using winmo. I'm unlikely to buy a phone without a world class qwerty, but this is fascinating.

Looks just perfect to me: fitting just nicely in the pocket and hand and with confortable enough screen with amazing resolution. They've got a new client already.

Not beating around the bush we'll just say that the Galaxy Tab 7.7 Android 3.2 tablet is supposed to cost €699 (the exact model bearing this price tag is unknown), while the Android 2.3-running Galaxy Note will sell for €799.
