Luckily all that is relegated to the (opt-in) P&R forum. Or else we're all godless heathens here.

I didn't mean that anyone would be preaching or proselytizing. I certainly wouldn't expect that. But in a another group that I participate in people are often referring to Church Pot Luck Suppers, or Feasts or Fasts for one reason or another, or simply 'on my way home from church...' sort of comments. I rarely see anything like that here, just once or twice. It makes me wonder why.
Of course, almost everything makes me wonder why...

Well, perhaps heathen, but not neccesarily Godless... After all, even Conan had Crom.

That sounds good! What is the source? I was in my little Chinese import shop downtown the other day and they were still out of the unbranded Keemun that I like so much. I have perhaps only a dozen more mugs of it left, and if they don't carry it any more I will need a new supplier.

guilty, godless.
Well, practically no, I have a god, but he wears a cape and tights, so I don't think that counts.

Yes, that's what I mean. I don't remember any forum where people would mention it as one of the daily routine or weekend routine thing they do. Maybe visiting ...a shrine is considered to be as private matter as what happens in one's bedroom and it is not something to be mentioned in common?

PekoeTea

From China Black I tried their:

1 50g pouch x Yunnan Black Golden Tips 50g @ £ 5.00 = £ 5
1 50g pouch x Golden Needle 50g @ £ 5.00 = £ 5
1 50g pouch x Finest Keemun Mao Feng 50g @ £ 6.20 = £ 6.2

Golden Needle - didn't like it.
Keemun Mao Feng - At first I didn't like. Later, I have read on the Internet, that Mao Feng teas are a bit different. To get the best out of Keemun Mao Feng you have to put a smaller amount of leaves but steep longer (like 6min vs. 4min for standard Keemun) to bring out its full flavour.
Yunnan Black Golden Tips - is almost as good as The East India Company's. This is what I have in me cup right now

Perseverance pays huge/tiny dividends.

Keemun tea - wikipedia

Quote:
Keemun Mao Feng (祁門毛峰) - A variety, where Mao Feng means Fur Peak, which is made of only slightly twisted leaf buds and is sometimes noted for a smoother and different flavor. Many people prefer to brew a smaller quantity of this tea for a longer time than usual, up to 7 minutes, to bring out more interesting tones in the tea

With your recommendation in mind, I think I'll just order some East India Keemun! I believe that they can do no wrong!

Wow! This led me to spend the last 20 minutes going from one page to another, and bookmarking for further exploration!

This was easy! I just placed an order directly with the East India Company for 200gm of their Keemun tea. Including shipping to Japan it was only £16!

Nice doing business with a company that doesn't create any drama when asked for international shipping... The only thing they did was change the shipping carrier to 'air mail.' I can live with that.

I keep meaning to go to the local Catholic Church on Sunday and then I don't. I am not sure what that says. I know I believe in God. I know that I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I know that I am Catholic. I am comfortable with the idea that I can believe and be all of these things without visiting a Church yet the community aspect is an important part of all of these things.

I'll figure it out one of these days.

I always figured that standing in a church/mosque/synagogue, etc. made one religious about as much as standing in a garage makes one a Volkswagen. Religion is on the inside more than in the wrappings.

One (more) small glass of Bombay Sapphire, then it's off to bed!

Agreed but the community is very important in many religions. Participating and sharing with others is a good thing.
