Grrrrrrrrrrrr Is anyone a member of web hosting talk?

They won't let me register with two of my email addresses, and I am not using my business email for a website forum registration.

So when I try to register they say my email address is banned click to let the administrator know the email address is valid.... BUT! you have to be logged in to send the message.

It wouldn't worry me so much, but unless you are logged in you can't even use the search function.

Now all I need is a 'loop' pedal so I can make my own backing tracks and I'll be good to go. I'd like a used one if I can find it. A new one costs about $200.

I have a digital workstation that I use for playing piano and it suffices for background loops, although I haven't played much guitar in the last while and I'm scared to uncase the workstation until my son reaches a civilized age. I'm guessing another twenty years.

Epic failure in web useability. I've got no solution to that other than you'll need to know someone on the site to get a message in.

Bless you, my child! I completely forgot that I have a copy of Sonar, a digital workstation! Now... where did I put it?

Get a free email address (gmail/yahoo/hotmail etc.), and use that. They're also handy for handing out to guys who you just KNOW are going to add you to some spam list.

Yes, securely. Indeed. I saved out the attachment to do some snooping. They've stolen style sheets from the United Kingdom Revenue Agency and their submit ip is in Malaysia. Damn those colonies.

Thanks. When playing heavy metal, it's much better than a yarmulke.
Same with the long robes. A t-shirt correctly fits the image.

I've seen a couple of video interviews with Slash and it's remarkable how different he comes across when speaking rather than playing. He's very soft-spoken, sounding educated (though he has little formal schooling,) 180 degrees from what a Heavy Metal Rock star 'should' sound like. I find it interesting...

It was my hotmail addresses they didnt like.

I have now received an email from the helpdesk who could not see what the problem is. I still can't log on as is doesn't recognise me on the forum. I will see if I can log into the US forum (maybe they have accepted me there). The email wants some detail so off I go now to see what is going on.

I think long robes and a yarmulke would look entirely appropriate with heavy metal.
