When I went to upload my on the Sony ereader, they said it would cost $39 for the formatting. After I paid $750 for editing and $105 for covers, I ran out of money. at 99 cents for each book, it's going to take time to recoup. So, that's why I haven't put it on sony.

Money needn't be a limiting factor, though time and energy might be. It doesn't cost anything to upload to Sony if you do it through Smashwords. All you need is a well-formatted Word document and your cover. You can also get it into other stores that way.
