There is currently no option to remove the status bar.

I believe it was looked into and determined it might be able to be removed but wouldn't make a difference since the book viewing area could not be extended to take advantage of the space.

It has been a while since I read this info, circumstances might be different now.

Hi,

I notice some strange distortions with lang.ods at google-docs.
Both with Firefox and IE.

What I'm doing wrong (beside not installing chrome) ?

I've seen this kind of errors only when using it with opera.

I was very interested in this comment from BenChen: the next version of PRS+ will have the option to display the current book cover on standby. So the obvious question is when will this next version be officially available? Pretty please.

I think original place you chose for viewer settings was much better than what I suggested. Revert it when you have time please.
"Advanced" submenus can wait for settings system to become more flexible.

Thanks Kartu; I went ahead and grabbed the latest source from the repository--it works a treat! I was using my own custom built firmware before, but now I am a PRS+ convert.

A couple of questions?

1. Is there any reason why the next page and previous page buttons are not bindable? In my custom firmware I bound them to prev/next history (just personal preference).
2. Any chance of a backgammon game? I think this would be a great addition. I am not
too bothered about the AI, as long as I can play it against my wife.

1) There is a "fast paging" functionality bound to "keep pressed", I simply didn't want to mess with it.
2) Here is the best place to ask for more apps.

Regarding 1) I have just tried the fast paging and it is a great feature; I think you are probably right not to mess with next/prev page buttons. I have got next/prev history bound to the volume button anyway (who ever listens to audio?).

Again, the new "cover page as standby image" is a really cool addition.

Hi,

Today I have given my first try to make an installer. It works well and now my PRS-350 has the RPSP2.00.13Beta. I've found a problem, however. I have bound two keys, and they keep the same binding at the configuration menu, but they don't work.

Hi kartu, Mark, Ben, and any other coders,

I have pushed my first attempt at a contribution to PRS+ to my clone, quisvir-1, rev. 9a07c57813c2 and b1f697995723. It does two things:
- Give users the ability to mark books as read/unread (a requested feature I believe);
- Give option to hide default collections.

I have put them in a separate addon called Book Management, because I wasn't sure where to put them otherwise. It might be best to integrate it with Book History, which also deals with book management in a way. Also, I didn't change lang.ods, as I'm not sure how that is handled by you guys.

I would love to receive some feedback on my code. I'm only a beginner at this, but hopefully other people will be able to enjoy my efforts

FYI, I have a 950 and I only have one key binding, that is hold+home is now shutdown and it works fine.

Please permit commenting of code in your repository
there is no need to set "config.defaultLogLevel" in prsp.js, you can override it in "user.config" located in /Beta/

Knowing exactly which bindings didn't work would help much more than just "bindings do not work".

quisvir good job, the only problematic part is having to edit asset xml files (which were supposed to be "translate once and forget", the rest was supposed to come from PRS+ translation spreadsheet). Hopefully there should be a way to inject those into "strings" object (initialized from assets.xml), so that we could keep these strings in the spreadsheet.

Another thing is, there is already 'mark" for 300, that is always manual (allows to assign up to 5 (?) subicons to a book) which I planned to implement for other models.

On x50, the default feature is more of a "book opened"/"is new" than "read"/"unread".

Yeah that may have been me not being smart

I figured that, because I kept making changes to main.xml (which requires a reader restart to be reloaded), I had to stick to regular builds instead of beta builds. But of course, beta builds work just as well after a reader restart.
