If the TV series is the one that is ALWAYS on 3/4 of our....lesser, digital channels, it strikes one as similar to the very early B/C budget sci-fi films - only with very little of the filmcraft, and none of the charm !

Cor, they are stinkers !

Looking forward to the new movie.

BTW, Loved the new Solomon Kane movie, It was never shown here so I have to visit the galleon berthed at the neighbourhood dock to preview it once a decent DVD rip was available. I purchased the bluray through amazon not so long ago.

I thought the new Conan movie had a lot of good things going on in it (Momoa, the locations, the monsters) but it was too focused on hyperactive action sequences and never built up the characters or the story. There was none of the horror or mystery or humor of the original stories. Hopefully the sequel will be better.
