Hey Kovid, do you have a roadmap or timeline for us folks waiting for the next release? If not, do you have instructions I can use to generate the windows executables from my FreeBSD box that has the enlistment on it?

Instructions for getting the betas for the next release are on the web2lrf thread.

I doubt you can build windows executables on a unix box (there are too many dependencies you'd have to figure out how to compile), but there are instructions for getting it running from svn for windows and linux on the libprs500 wiki under Development and StDo is writing the instructions for OS X.

The reason for that is that libprs500 tries only to use fonts that have a so called "normal" face as well as bold, italic and bold-italic faces. Unfortunately, the routine it uses to detect the face type is failing on hte Optane fonts.

What is it looking for? Could I, perhaps, fudge it in FontForge?

The font weight. It should be 400 for a normal weight font, >= 700 for a bold, but all those fonts have weights in single digits.

That was an easy fix in FontForge. Thanks

Hi Kov,

Thanks for a great program. Even though I don't know how to use it properly. :P

Is there a guide to using this program?

I've broken down a .chm file with hh -decompile, which has resulted in about 274 html files. I understand that I have to put them all in a zip, but I didn't understand how I create a guide for the order.

Are there any plans to put a .chm->.lrf converter in this app?

Thanks heaps!

Just run html2lrf from the command line on the table of contents html file and everything should get included correctly automatically.

Is it possible to make html2lrf ignore img tags?

Kov:

Thanks for your great program.

I use html2lrf to convert my HTML files into LRF. It seems that the "--top-margin" option becomes invalid if "--header" is set. Am I right? If yes, how can I set the space between the header and the content?

I got a way, use style "padding-top:" for <p>.

Hi Kov,

First of all thanks for the tools. They rock!

Quick question: When an HTML file is converted, is there a way to include the external images?
