Hmmm. I had a PRS-600 (two of them, in fact) and although the touch layer did degrade the image quality, I certainly wouldn't describe it as "unreadable" by any stretch of the imagination. The 350/650 screens, though, are a heck of a lot better - no doubt at all about that.

I tried, I really did, but I could NOT read on the darn thing.

I bought an ex-display PRS-600 very cheaply (for me), and at the same time I bought a PRS-650 for a gift for the missus as a present.

After seeing the 650 in action, I sold the PRS-600 (for double what I paid for it) and bought a 650, they are WORLDS apart in screen clarity.
