What to do when Dropbox is full?

So I just got a message that my dropbox is almost full....well crap!

Anyone else run into this? And what did you do to help?

I can't really afford the $10 a month for another 3gb

You could delete some files from it.

Well that's the obvious solution...but I'm wondering if there is another option out there other than dropbox.

Get a SugarSync free account, then divide your stuff between the two. Dropbox and Sugarsync play nicely together; I have both running. SS is cheaper for when your needs run into the tens of GBs, as mine have. It also lets you mark folders for syncing, without requiring you to move them.

I have dropbox on more then one computer then I share a file folder between them, and get the extra space for referring my other laptops.

I'll look at SugarSync.....I don't have 2 computers...so that's not an option.

The other users of MobileRead have been quite kind to me in regards to my referral link. You might try adding one in your signature.

Agreed. I maxed out the free space by having it in my sig here.

Would it perhaps not be as well to remove it from your sig, in that case, to give others a chance at the referral?

I think Soonr still offers free accounts. www.soonr.com. The set-up and usage is similar to Dropbox.

MIcrosoft has something I think they call Skydrive. I seem to have some free storage available there but I haven't been using it. See http://explore.live.com/windows-live-skydrive

Thanks for all the replys...I'm currently using SugarSync...and messing with that, so far it works great with drop box
