Never say never, but It'd have to be a huge step up over current eInk devices for me to upgrade. I've got a Hanlin v3 at the moment, which is a few years old now, but still usable enough for my outdoor reading needs

Color eink has been available since last November, but the colors aren't really bright, and maybe it's too expensive as well. But who knows, maybe it will come in a sony, or maybe the situation will want to make the other companies do something like bringing eink color devices for x-mas to compete for the spotlight.

That is not how I interpret that article. The article, as I interpret it, says that when you but from Pottermore, you can chose to slot the file into your Google library-in-the-cloud.

9.7" with a measly resolution of 800x600? That's going to be have a rather poor DPI. And they said it was slow. Sorry, it sounds like it needs a better screen and maybe a better screen controller.

Can you please link to where Amazon said the Harry Potter eBooks will be available for the Kindle. Google eBooks is ePub.
