The weather was beautiful today. I walked all over the zoo and didn't break a sweat at all. Last time I went, just a few weeks ago, I was just about dehydrated when I got home. Big change.

Second day of miserable cool rain.

The poor searchers in the mud looking for the bones of Daniel Morecomb getting rained on again. So far found a pair of shoes and three bones. Everyone is hoping forensic tests will show they belong to Daniel.

Finally some sunshine and I have "launched" a short sleeve t-shirt! And planted some tomato plants (and it's still the middle of winter). But I will probably have little covers over the tomatoes by the end of the week. Worryingly, our tortoise has come out of hibernation a few times this winter - does he know something we don't? We are probably in for a stinker of a summer, just like our poor Northern Hemisphere MR friends.
