Hi All from the England,

Just got the Sony Reader (through my boss having to go to the States! ) and am already pleased with it.

I have got lots of questions, just ned to find the right thread to ask them!

Anyone else form the UK (Hampshire in particular)?

Welcome Lee. The Sony is a great choice. Be sure to check out the Wiki too. Most of the information meat has been accumulated in the Wiki topics.

All: where should i post questions about getting the free books from Sony and to get a simple "how to convert Microsoft format ebook" to Sony format?

Fiona: Nice to see a fellow Hampshire Hogg, Live just outside sunny Portsmouth (FA Cup glory forthcoming ).

Free books... check out two places. First the eBoos forum/download sections here. Second, check out the Wiki https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Free_eBooks .

ALso, check out the conversion software wiki... but I would recommend libprs500. If they are DRMed lit books, google for ConvertLIT, download it and follow the readme.txt. https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/E-book_conversion
