1. Is it possible to retrieve data from Kobo and put it back into my pc? If so, How.
2. How simple is it to access Wikipedia?

Since the Kobo Touch acts like a simple USB storage device, you should be able to drag and drop files to and from the KT in all three major operating systems. I don't use the web browser of my KT, so I can't speak to your other question.
