I have seen many members of hobby forums I am a member of, that have tens of thousands of posts. Yet they say little in any of them.

Others with only a few posts that make you read what they say, contributing much.

It is the quality of posts that matter, not the amount of posts made.

I've been on a couple of other forums that utilise the karma system and I've tended to see it as a fair indicator of SNR.
