New to the eReader Community
Hello everyone, I currently live in Germany. My wife gave me my first eReader (Sony PRS-350) as a gift the other day since I love to read. Hopefully I will enjoy e-reading vs. reading standard books. I mainly read action/military type novels and also like to read about cars, motorcycles and travel.

I look forward to reading the forums to learn about my device, recommended options (Sony ebook store doesn't seem to offer much) for books, and additional software to maximize the eReading experience.

Good to have your company, Glide. And you've chosen a great piece of hardware (I use a Sony, too, and am more than happy with it. Their software, though, leaves much to be desired. Here's a wee tip that thousands here and a million or more other ebook readers swear by, download the excellent and free Calibre Library software (http://www.calibre-ebook.com). You'll find Sony hardware and Calibre software a marriage made in heaven. Happy e-reading and very best wishes. Neil

Thank you all for the kind welcome and thank you neilmarr for the software recommendation I'll give it a try this weekend.

I'm all ready hooked to the e-reader I conducted a speed read through my last paperback just to get finished so I could concentrate on the e-books I down loaded.
