Thanks for the info Gunner, now to stave off my temptations to buy another. Actually let me make some calls and I can see if I can get rid of my temptation to buy one of these by buying it and gifting it -- to the phone!

Crap, I'm almost tempted to send mine back and buy one of these.. 150 is a awesome price.. I'd get back almost 105 and its new.. hmm.. and the sell of my PE will make me have spent a lot less..

Hmm now just to decide on color..

Bah, ok I pulled the trigger. a hundred bucks back was just to good to pass up, even if sending the first one back is a hassel. Hopefully I'll get a box this time.

That's the first thing I thought when I saw this, I've never seen these this cheap and the one I bought is too old to send back, good luck getting you moneys worth.

I got the 149 deal , but the seller has since changed the price to 229, although, even that is still a good deal, but not a big enough savings over the 265 I paid. I wonder if it was listed at 149 by mistake or he was selling them way to fast lol.

Of course after I bought mine he now has the ice blue up for sale. I wouldn't have bought it at 229 but I would have at 149. I like that color.

Great find, Gunner!! And nice to see the prices coming down. $229 is totally reasonable for the edge.

I like the white ones personally, it looks cool and would probably help cool it off when I read in the sun. Yeah though, it wouldn't net enough profit to make it worth the time at 229.

I wonder whether the seller mistakenly looked at some Pocket Edge prices to determine the $149 price, then realized that the EEs go for more.

These had been posted on deals.woot.com @$149.99. I was about to give it a big thumbs up since I'd bought one from pcukid before, and the deal had been efficient (if no-frills).

But first I had to feed the dogs. When that was done, I went back to deals.woot and found someone had posted that the seller didn't have much feedback, and I was all, "Huff puff, I can vouch for them." And they also said the price was $229. And I'm all, "Whaaa???"

So just I posted a question to the seller asking why they'd changed the price after it was posted and had been noticed, pointing out that it didn't help their reputation as a seller even a little smidgen.

So phooey. We'll see what happens.

Sarah, pcukid had already sold a pile of the EEs a few weeks ago. Which doesn't stop someone's brain from slipping a cog, but they knew EE from PE for sure.

Wow they are all over the place with the price. Glad you are happy with yours. I'm keeping this one(bought at 265) until ithe new one comes in, just to make sure its ok, but I am so thrilled with 149!

After I posted the last reply here, I noticed the seller had answered my question in email apologizing for the $149.99 error and promising the price would be dropped to $189. Which did happen.

Now the seller has sent another email saying they've reduced the price to $169, the best they can do as they have to make their overhead.

And it is $169 now.
