KlearKase makes their cases out of the stuff used to make the windows on fighter planes. I think it would do well in a back case or a dog fight.

Yeah it's sturdy. The interior is really soft, hence the marks, but if you pass your hand across the interior it disappears
![]() If you want I can take more pictures of it, if you have a specific position you want to see. |

I'm not sure it would survive someone sitting on it, but I got a Bundle Monster Kindle 3 Genuine Leather case.
It's simple. Maybe a might heavy, but it's quite practical, and was on sale for $22. Decent for genuine leather and not wanting an integrated light. |

What's the best color? I know, that is quite subjective. But the reason I ask is, I have a white CE Compass cover on one of my Kindles, and I noticed last night (reading in the dark with a book light) that it made the Kindle screen look terrible. I never noticed that with my black or blue covers. Are darker colors best for Kindles? Opinions, please!

My white one is all white, inside and out. Maybe I'm just not used to it, yet.

I guess you could say that dark colored covers offer a better contrast.

I use it without turning it completely flat and I can hold it with either hand that it's not any bit awkward. I can take some more pictures to show you what I'm telling you if you want. |

Hey all. I JUST finished reading this thread from the start... lots to look at, but not a whole lot of what I was specifically looking for... so I'm gonna ask.
I have a Kindle 3 with a DecalGirl skin that I want to be able to see. At the moment I'm using it in a sleeve my hubby bought (no idea about the brand) and that works okay. However, I'm pretty rough on my technology and I want my Kindle to be more protected from life. That being said, I'd rather have something that stays on the Kindle all the time. So, I think I've narrowed it down to two different products, the Tuff-Luv case and the KlearKase. Obviously, the KlearKase covers more of the Kindle, so it's more protective however it's also more expensive. Does anyone have a KlearKase on a skinned Kindle that can tell me how much the wavy design on the back disrupts view of a skin below? I think I'd almost rather go with the Tuff-Luv case if the waves distort the image much at all. A picture of the back with a skin would be ideal for me to see if it's something I can deal with. I've been looking and it's amazing (and disturbing) just how rarely "clear" means "clear." Seems the word "translucent" has gone out of style so now there are clear black cases, which makes no sense AT ALL to me. |
