I've created a new refreshing drink for super hot days [which these days is every day] - pour Perrier into a glass containing crushed ice and a dash of Campari! I call it "Pink Fizz" - more interesting to the palate than plain Perrier, and not too alcoholic for sustained imbibing!

Yep, I can buy coke zero decaf in the supermarket! I drink enough coffee throughout the day, so I figured it would be a good idea to limit caffeine intake in the evening

In my cup: Nespresso. I've had another mostly sleepless night

That's one of the downsides of a new relationship, we talked until midnight last night and then I couldn't get to sleep because I was still too excited

Iced cranberry juice with some seltzer water in for fizz. Not bad!

I just went and stocked up on juices. I got tomato, cranberry, pineapple and lime juices, plus seltzer water, plus the sparkling green tea stuff that I got addicted to FAST. I'll be having lots of "mock cocktails" this week, I guess. Found a website with a bunch of those kind of recipes and they sounded really good in this warm weather.
Most of them are just juice blends with maybe some seltzer thrown in for fizz.
