I am off to make some "cranberry" tea, and finish off 'The Name of the Wind'. A little late, but not too bad.

Good morning, everyone! I was told to toddle by, as I love tea, and also milk, and sometimes soda, and ooooo, import beer! But not in the morning, don't worry.
This morning I am having a lovely jasmine pearl green tea, and my dog Bean is trying to lap it up out of my cup! |

Happy Tuesday, everyone!
Black coffee. Sometimes you take what you can get and snobs (beer, wine, tea, coffee, water, lemonade--my apologies if I've inadvertently omitted your beverage-of-choice) be damned. ![]() |

I've got some water on the stove for tea, and then I've got to run! I bought 3 new p-books today, albeit one is for my husband. The hardcover versions were cheaper than the ebooks (I got them from the bargain table at Chapters).

Salt Spring Coffee West Coast Blend made in stove-top espresso maker with a spoonful of real maple syrup and a splash of boiling water added. Kind of a home-made version of an Americano, a Canadiano, if you will.

Success! Triumph!
Little Daughter (4) likes the cold tea we made together better then the one her mother (Wife) buys her. Gunpowder (second time around to take away most of the caffeine), a pinch of mint, lemon juice and just a shadow of sugar. Instantly cold with a funnel full of ice cubes while bottling it. In the old commercial tea plastic bottle. Revenge! How she liked the gunpowder flowering up. How she was astonished that I poured in the sink the first brew. How she enjoyed pouring the lemon juice, than adding some and adjusting the flavor with a bit more sugar. Ah! And shaking the bottle. Practically no mess. Me? Now? A small lemoncello. |

Btw ![]() The other way we were discussing this with some of my friends. One of which studies with me at the university (engineer) and he pointed out (and i quote): "Technically the glass is always full, no matter what. You pour the glass full of water and drink half the glass. The glass is still goddam full; half is filled with water, the other half is filled with air. Don't give me that optimistic, pessimistic bs" Last edited by Rainmaker; 08-02-2011 at 09:35 PM. |

Iron Buddha tea with some nice dim sum for lunch - the tripe with chilli and black pepper was very tasty (if a bit chewy)

Oh, I wish it would rain here! I love rain in the morning! It's perfect weather for snuggling down into a blanket and reading.
This morning I'm skipping straight to the Diet Coke. I need to wake up, and tea is too relaxing! |
