Thanks! It should be quite the experience. Like a time warp... I lived in that area for almost 25 years before moving to Asia.

Thanks. I'm excited too. I think Vermont is one of the prettiest states in the US, especially in the summer time, and I plan to re-visit a lot of it. After the wedding and the newlyweds are on their way, I'll do a lot of sightseeing. Although I'll be staying in northern Vermont, there is a road that I plan to ride that goes from north to south, right along the entire Green Mountain range, right down the middle for about 200 miles. I'll borrow my son's motorcycle and really get back to nature! No better way to explore mountains and river valleys! I'll meet up with a couple of old flames too. Judging from their Facebook photos, they did all right for themselves! Nice looking families! But they got old. I didn't. That's cuz I live in Never Never Land!

Just a couple more hours and I can leave for the airport. Damn, I hate waiting to go!

I won't be 'staying' with her, but we'll be meeting in the afternoon with my son and his fiancee, then all of us going to dinner together. (Most of the wedding guests, including my ex, her husband and their two daughters, live out of town and will be staying over in hotels, as will I.) Then the next day and evening there is a BBQ/wedding rehersal/dance for all the guests who are coming into town for the wedding the next day. There 'may' be a Sunday Brunch too... I don't know yet.

It really won't be that difficult. There are only one or two women from my past who would not sit to table with me. We usually parted friends and remained friends and often lovers for years afterwards. Some even came to Asia to visit or travel with me for a month or two before I met my wife.

Thanks. That was about the last time I was in Vermont too. Although I've visited the US 4-5 times in the past 20+ years, we never went north. We hiked and biked in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Smokies, went diving in the Florida Keys, etc. but I never went back to Vermont. I just wish the clock would move a little bit faster... I'm really having a lot of trouble waiting to leave the house!!!!!

Hmmm ... "black coffee." To a coffee nerd and fanatic, that's like saying you drive a "car." I know that mass market coffee (Folgers, Maxwell House, etc.) is a hopeless mixture of whatever they can buy at the cheapest coop sale. But I've converted dozens of 'coffee' drinkers to real, origin cultivar coffee by simply making one cup of really, really fine coffee. Once you know what coffee can be ... it ain't just coffee anymore.

Sipping a great cup of fresh, home-roasted Rwanda Dukunde Kawa Mususa ...
