That's funny! So did we! For hot tea I am VERY particular what teas I drink, but after years of living in the jungles of northern Thailand, I became addicted to Lipton's Instant Ice Tea! No sugar. No lemon. (Of course it wasn't made with tap water... which is why I'm still here.) I like it even better than when making ice tea from high quality teas... and believe me I tried them all! God only knows why, as there are no teas I know of quite as bad as a hot drink made from Lipton's tea bags, but they seem to be able to turn out a really tasty Instant Iced Tea! It's a shame I can't buy it here, and usually stock up on several bottles whenever we travel!

I'm drinking a big mug of the stuff right now! Delicious!

Nestea isn't bad. I do Lipton's or Nestea, interchangeably. The caffienated kind, not de-caffeinated. No lemon or sugar for me either - that would be too complicated. I wonder whether the tannic acid might kill most organisms in places with unsafe tapwater? I wouldn't want to experiment on myself.

Coffee. From a drip machine. Made with cheap Folger's grounds I got from the drugstore because I ran out and nothing else was open. with some hazelnut flavored creamer.

I used to drink instant. Proudly. Someone gave me a French Press and it was great but a pain to clean every time. My mom gave me a drip machine and I like it because of the morning timed brew.

Hi Sacredwoman, welcome to the forum. Regarding Kitkat.... EVERYTHING goes well with Kitkat except garlic bread.

Kitkat is as universal as Coke. Some 20 years ago I took an overnight bus out of Kuala Lumpur into central Malaysia. From there I took a 10 passenger motorized canoe 6 hours up river into the Tamon Negara jungles, then a three-man canoe up a smaller tributary that lead to a floating 'general store' of sorts... selling kerosene, machetes, rice, rope, salt, etc.,etc., etc. They also sold Kitkat bars and Marlboro cigarettes!

I'm going to have another glass of ice tea! It's getting hot out there!
