Spring-Heeled Jack, maybe in paperback. But the ebook is cheaper and more convenient (for me). Jonathan Strange, however, is over 1,000 pages in paperback. That's a deal-breaker for me.

200-350 pages -- paper? sure!
350-600 pages -- paper? eh, what's the cost difference?
600-800 pages -- ebook, unless I want to give it to my brother afterwards
800+ pages -- ebook no matter what

Neil Gaiman you say? Jonathan Strange you say? Im on it. A thousand pages you say? Ill just put that back. Seriously though, I agree, ebook. But I have too many thousand pagers I already intend to tackle to add another one to it.

Is it me or did they add more to the collection everyday?

Its funny, I was up past midnight last night going over my Wishlist and the books. As I said I had many more but cut them due to not liking the plot in general, too much money or other reasons. Most of my books are $.99, that doesnt hurt my wallet as much. I had no idea what they meant by the sale ending 7/27. Was that at midnight 7/27? Sometime during the day of 7/27? Maybe 7/28? I bought a bunch last night but figured Id check out some more when I got to work since the sale didnt end. Now I see they added more. No fair. Well I dont think Ill go back and check them out again. Ive lost enough money as is. Sides, I saw the new ones out as I skimmed for a few books that didnt make the original cut.

Originally, as I posted in the first post, it said through midnight PDT on July 27, 2011. Now it says "through 7/27," so I assume it means midnight PDT tonight, 7/28.

OK. Sale is over and most title have returned to higher prices. The original Big Deal page now states that the Big Deal has ended.

But the above links let you see how much each price has jumped and that some titles are still at the sale price. I don't know whether they have not gone back up yet or they were already at the sale price and lumped in by intent or accident.

I never got around to contacting Amazon, but it looks like the listings have been corrected.

Some of the books in the sale had already been reduced and some permanently reduced, kind of a mishmash, so yes, it's always worthwhile to continue checking.

Most of them yes were either discounted at one time or another, given away free or I got them from the library or they are sitting in paperback on my shelf. I didn't see to many else that I wanted or didn't own. So I spent my money at Smashwords instead.
