K, whether the adviser tells the truth (yes, me and your honey bunny did some horizontal - or, come to think of it, even vertical

- gymnastics) or lies, the outcome in the mind of the king will be the same: death for the guy (the first answer will make the king a cuckold whereas the second the king knows to be a lie).
So apparently there is only one thing that the adviser can say w/o admitting to cuckolding the king and w/o lying.

Don't think I would ever have got there, despite sleepless nights

. No rotten tomatoes though

. It's probably my own fault for starting the lateral thinking bit (and boy did I get lambasted for that one...

).

So....here's another one to annoy and irritate

Romeo and Juliet lie dead on the floor, surrounded by broken glass and a pool of water. How did they die?

I'm not sure about the broken glass but...

Hmm. Juliet fell into the swimming pool and happened to be drown. Romeo jumped in to save her, he dragged her body up and did all sorts of CPR but still the girl was dead and he was so miserable he drank the poison.

EDIT: I forgot about the broken glass part. Romeo drank the poison from a glass and dropped it when he was unconscious

^ There was a quick freeze in the room. R&J, deciding to avoid a slow death by hypothermia, instead decide to smash the vase, which was filled with water that had frozen solid. They then used shards of ice to cut their throats/veins or pierce vital organs.

Messy, but effective

Here's one to work on until Sneaky shows up...

Back in the 1920s a new kind of electric toaster was manufactured.
It could toast two slices of bread at once, but it only toasted one side of the bread at a time. First, you'd put the bread in the toaster, and after 30 seconds, you'd
turn the slices over to toast them for another 30 seconds on the other side. Now here's our problem. Dick and Jane were in a hurry and wanted to toast three slices of bread for breakfast. How could they do it in less than two minutes?
