But following up sardines with lawn mower? Is that Kosher? Don't you have to use separate plates or something?

You and my wife both . She stalked out of the kitchen when I started grilling these babies...

I mave have an iron constitution, but I draw the line at the lawn mower. Too many plastic parts that get stuck in the teeth...

I'm now imagining Kita's reaction. The owner of a furniture store nearby has a small pig, which tags along when he walks his dogs.

Interestingly, alpaca all (as a group) poo in one spot, until it gets too big and then they move to another. I had asked my friends if they were raking all the poo into piles (perhaps for later pickup for fertilizer), but they said no, as above. For some reason, that kind of freaked me out (they're a kind of animal that is incredibly cute, especially when you look into their huge brown darling eyes...and see a glimpse of insanity straining to get out. It's...disconcerting).

I couldn't eat a whole one but.

Cheers,
Marc

Yes; a sheep for the wool, and a goat to provide you with silk.

Doesn't it happen everywhere in the world?

My mom didn't successfully have me wash the dishes.

She never knew that was because I hated the dishwashing liquid's smell

I wonder how they choose. Do you suppose it's sort of a group consensus, as in 'Say fellows, shall we all poop in the North-West corner today, or do you think the East side will be preferable?' Perhaps they have something like an Alpaca Feng Shui master telling them that the South-East is more auspicious in the morning, but they need to switch to the Heaven's Gate for the afternoon...

Maybe it's as simple as "Gee, look where Larry pooped! He must know something we don't. Let's all poop there and see!"

when I had multiple Newfies they would tend to poo in one pile. it was very much appreciated!

*sigh* Strider just got all snuggly/comfie and it is tempting to roll over, grab the Kindle and snooze for a bit, but work calls. besides, I was just nastily attacked in another thread, and instead of getting into a flame war, it is probably wisest to just go to work

Don't say it too loudly or my kids will use that excuse. They've pretty much used every other available one (the latest from our 11 year-old was that she had to quickly go change her Facebook status. Didn't see her again for the rest of the evening...)

Right now I'm deciding whether to bother cooking dinner (prolly some pork ribs), or just having another glass of red wine and forgetting the whole thing.

Just finished the final episode of season two of Fringe. I both love and hate those cliffhangers: there's no release date yet for season three in the Netherlands, I saw it will be released in September in the UK so I'll probably order it then.

Big question now is what to watch next: Romanzo Criminale or True Blood season three.

Norton tends to poo in one area also. A zip code's an area, isn't it?

I saw the second episode on tv a while back, but with all the reruns, stopping in the middle of a season and my hate of commercial breaks I wanted to wait for the dvd to be available at a reasonable price.

I was a bit sceptical about the alternate universe/characters, but they seem to pull it off. This show has become one of my favourites fast and I'll probably pay full price and not wait to get season three.
