Got a problem
I have a few black lines on the bottom of the screen, but not as bad as some of the pictures shown. They are straight lines (Not jagged user caused ones) and was wondering if all screen problems are covered in the warranty or just the big ones? They flash black when I turn the page and sometimes go solid. It's about a half inch tall and two inches long.

It doesn't show up good enough in a picture, it's not really big, but it's worse than a week ago when it started. It's just a few black lines that (all together) are about of 1/4 inch tall. And sometimes 1/2-3/4 inches tall, and about two inches long.

I just want to know how far the damage has to extend for them to replace it. It doesn't hinder my reading very much, but that area of the screen is starting to go.

I would think that if it's noticeable it should be replaceable. No use waiting too long and realizing that your warranty just ran out.

That's what I was thinking when I opened the ticket. And as of last reading session one more line has appeared that is higher up on the screen and is now interfering with reading. So I guess I'm getting a new/refurbished one. The box is on its way. I guess I'll be getting a WiFi back (Hopefully).

I've got the box and the Kobo's goin out tomorrow. The screen is now really bad, one about two inches from the bottom are 4 lines going all the way across the screen, plus a two inch by two inch black square.

I'm thoroughly amazed at how fast the return package got here, 3 days from Ontario! Just wondering if anyone knows how long they'll keep it in the warehouse? Before they ship the new one?

I sent my tracking number to them and they mailed out my new Kobo Wifi before they had even received it. With it being so late on Friday, and Monday being a holiday, you probably won't be able to finesse that.

Well it went out Friday afternoon. And it's Purolator and I think they work on weekends and holidays, but I could be wrong.

For some reason, mine was shipped from Hong Kong. Once it landed in the US, it was delivered to my door in Red Deer AB within 24 hours. Of course, it didn't have to do the last leg of the journey on a ferry
