fantasticfiction problems help?

Uh.. I'm having problems with one of my favorite book sites. I can't find the answer ANYWHERE so.. /shrugs/ try here.

All I get when I try to go to http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/ and click on a author is

ERROR
The request could not be satisfied.

what is going on?? does anyone know. its been like that at least since yesterday.

...well how do I get it to work on my end? I tried firefox and opera and it don't work on either. and every other sites working for me.

Works fine here, too. Try rebooting your computer.

I suspect that big brother has determined YOU are a pirate and is just making your life miserable ;-)

have you tried IEexplorer? I don't use that browser, but always use it for a backup/check.

I had my computer turned off last night, so rebooting won't help. It won't work on IE either.

Try checking with your ISP as to whether they've blocked it for some reason, try rebooting your router, try with another computer (laptop or friend with laptop)... problem definitely your end... even your link works fine...

the ips is not blocking it. I don't know wtf is going on. Its not my antivirus or firewall either. I can get on the site with a proxy server, guess I'll just do that.

I know it can't be my computer, cause all my other sites work fine.

I got through OK on Adam-troy-castro link, and when I went there, all my selections worked.

Its ok, thanks all

It magically started working again. something on their end or my end banned one of us I guess. Its fixed now.. how I do not know. Not gonna question. Just gonna go back to building my all new, improved, book list.

I got a similar problem yesterday.

I went to the homepage fine but when I clicked on "B" to bring up the list of authors beginning with B I kept getting errors.

I then did a google search for the author (John Buchan) I got a Fantastic Fiction link direct to the author page and it loaded.

No, you're not hallucinating... it happens occasionally and the real cure is forget about it and it starts working a few hours/days later regardless of what you do... it's a "feature" of the internet/WWW...
