The Story of Plan B

I hope some of you will have a look at my new eBook, The Story of Plan B, a witty, thoughful, madcap, romantic story set in Ireland.

Zoë Madison has escaped a bad relationship in England has moved to Dublin. She is living an uneventful, fairly monotonous life when she gets an unexpected phone call from the sexy, celebrity gardener Larry Harte and things veer to the more vibrant side.
Larry is doing research for a biography on his dead, popstar father, Phil Harte, and has found out that Georgia, Zoë’s New Age hippy mother was his nanny before she was married. But is there more to Georgia and Phil's story? The press certainly think so.
Zoë and Larry are pursued out of Dublin and across Ireland by tenacious paparazzi, hard-nosed journalists and Larry’s creepy, eroto-maniac stalker, as they delve into the past and, through twists and turns, kidnapping and crashes, revelations and fabrications, misunderstandings and arguments, gradually unravel the past and face the future.
Life, as Zoë learns, is the Story of Plan B.

Smile Forge of Stones for Free from Amazon!

Forge of Stones, a fantasy/science fiction novel, is now finally available for free from Amazon. Although it had already been available from Smashwords and through that from other various online retailers, Amazon had yet to catch up.

And now, it's free on Amazon as well as the sister sites, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de (I can't check the prices there because of Amazon policy - I can only check the US site). The blurb:

In a world dominated by a theocratic regime, a rebel and a thinker embark on an unwilling adventure that will challenge everything about the past and shape their future in ways they could not have ever imagined. A strange pilgrim sets out on a journey that will bring him to the heart of everything, while all the while a revolution that will turn brother against brother is brewing. The truth behind everything will shatter their world, and nothing will ever be the same again.

Here's the link:
http://www.amazon.com/Forge-of-Stone...0630141&sr=8-2

Hope you enjoy reading the book, tell your friends about it, and write up a review!

Rubies and Other Gems - the Novel is available on all digital platforms. Women's fiction with a time-travel twist.

Seeking relief from her unhappy family life, a woman travels back in time only to discover she may have put her future happiness at risk.

Judith of The Book Binge says, "I would recommend this novel as one of those books that moves the reader through the days, months, and years of living, that open the reader's awareness to circumstances that, in this case, may be just a bit unique--how many of us get to be time travelers?...So be sure to read this novel--it will be well-worth your time. I know it held my interest from start to finish.”

First two chapters as well as other reviews on joycedebacco.com. Visitors welcome.

Hi everyone,
I'm completely new to the MobileRead forums so I hope you'll bear with me. Tried to post an introduction on the appropriate new-users page, but was told it was a very old thread--hmmm....guess that means no one is reading it anymore? So, what to do? Decided to hop right in where my main interests lie, which is with new e-books and the chance to tell people about my own books.

I write two mystery series, both set in New Mexico, both with female protagonists. Until the end of July, I'm giving away the first book in each series at Smashwords--yes, free!

for Deadly Gamble: The First Charlie Parker Mystery

https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/22786 for Sweet Masterpiece: The First Samantha Sweet Mystery

Find out more about all 15 of my books at http://connieshelton.com

Happy reading!

You don't post a thread to someone else's introduction.

You create your own introduction.

Pandora's Children

To my current fans and potential fans, just wanted to let you know that the middle 3 books in my Pandora's Children short story collection, Too Young To Die, Death Bleeds Into Life and The Wretched Ones will be going up in price ($1.99 each) around July 24th as I prepare to release two omnibus editions collecting all twenty two short stories from the six smaller volumes.

Book 1: In the Chair and the forthcoming Book 5: Speaking with the Dead will stay at $.99 in perpetuity, and Dark Interludes will forever remain free because I want to give new readers a cheaper jumping in point.

So if you have read any of the volumes and are considering picking up others, now is the time to do so.

If you are a fan of good old psychological horror, you won't be disappointed

You can find all four currently available Pandora's Children books, as well as my 25,000 word novella Dogs of War at my author page here.
Enjoy!

Romantic Suspense/Action Adventure

Image too large - MODERATOR]

One of my Blackthorne, Inc., novels, WHEN DANGER CALLS was featured at Ereader News Today. It's the first in the series, and can also be purchased from Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, and All Romance eBooks. The price is 99 cents.

Another in the series, Danger in Deer Ridge is also available for $2.99

And, there's still time to take advantage of the July sale at Smashwords, where another of my romantic suspense books, What's in a Name? is 25% off. Use code SSW25

(I hope I found the right thread this time.. if not, I apologize for misunderstanding what belongs in here.)

THE HARBINGER OF DOOM SAGA

The Harbinger of Doom saga centers around one Lord Angle Theta, an enigmatic warrior of unknown origins and mystical power. No mortal man is his match in battle. No sorcery can contain or confound him. No scholar or sage can outwit him. But for all his skills, he is but one of us; a man, a human, who shares our faults, our dreams, and our ambitions. He boldly strides across the land, fearless, peerless, and cloaked in mystery; all his will bent on righting such wrongs as he deems fit.

Until the day the Gateway opened and turned the world on its head. On that fateful day, Korrgonn came and washed away our dreams. And his outre' realms of chaos set their unholy mark upon our world and claimed it for their own.

Only Theta and his companions see the enemies aligning against us. Only they foresee our end coming -- the end of civilization, the end of the world of man. Only they can hope to turn the tide of madness and preserve all that we hold dear.

But no man, not even our greatest hero, can stand against the Lords of Chaos and the dark armies of Nifleheim at their command. Fiends that infiltrate unseen within our ranks, that tear down our temples and our traditions; that devour us from within, unseen, unknown, unheralded, and unopposed until the hour grows far too late.

Through the murk and mist that hangs before our eyes, one man only sees true. One man pierces the veil of magic that blinds us all and marks the world as it truly is, revealing secrets, secrets of Angle Theta, so horrifying as to shatter a man's mind and call into question the very nature of good and evil.
Join us now on our journey back to the days of high adventure.

Hi

Just to let you know that I've just updated the 'Reviews' section for 'Take No More' at amazon. This is what is says:

'Take No More by Seb Kirby is a wonderful book by a promising author. From the first pages Take No More held me enthralled and it delivered on every promise it made. It is a rich story set in a complex tapestry of characters and settings.' - Tracy Riva, amazon.com

'Wow! This is action-packed from page one, and the reader is instantly thurst into murder, suspense, and intrigue...... I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys a great crime thriller! And fans of Harlan Coben and Simon Kernick will love it!' - Author Sibel Hodge, amazon.com

'This is an outstanding debut novel by Seb Kirby. He captivates the reader from the first page, and remains gripping and compelling throughout. I could not put this book down.' - Sue P, amazon.com

'If You Like Harlan Coben, you'll love TAKE NO MORE .....my favorite kind of thriller...' - Author Libby Fischer Hellman, amazon.co.uk

'The comparisons with Harlan Coben are well merited because this is a gripping thriller in the same vein. It begins with the aftermath of a violent act and doesn't let up until the end. As an author who always aims for momentum and suspense myself, I take my hat off to Kirby. - Author John Harding, amazon.co.uk

Out now on Kindle.

Take No More - US

Take No More - UK

Take No More - Germany

Best wishes
