I just started trying this out. Was wondering if anyone else was on.

i am in, but doubt i will use it much, if at all - never used facebook ot twitter, not my cup of tea. got an invite and decided to try.

I'm liking it so far. It seems a bit more personal and cozy than Facebook. The challenge is going to be getting enough people on board, though.

I'd love an invite if anyone has any. Love the "circles" idea. My main gripe with FB has always been that everyone gets the same information. This way I can isolate things from my boss and elderly relations LOL.

I sent a Google+ message to another of my Gmail addresses. It looks like it takes a while to get there, so be patient.

Send me your e-mail and I'll send you an invite. You probably won't be able to get on today, or very soon, because it seems like they've shut out any new people for now, but you'll at least have the invite for when it's ready.

When I clicked the button 'keep me posted' (or something like that) in the link in your invitation, I was in immediately

I'm registered but haven't got into the habit of using it regularly yet. AND there's a problem ...

Canned messages from Google+ (I get as many as three a day) always crash my email programme. I must re-start it a dozen or more times before I can delete. Trying to add these emails to my junkmail folder also crashes Outlook.

I'm by no means the only one facing this problem as a quick net search will show. But I can't be hassled with the complex instructions (those I can even understand) to fix it. I would rather just close my account. Those corrupt Google+ have been costing me an hour or more's working time daily and I just can't afford that.

Hi, Neil.

If it's not your thing, it's not your thing. To each their own.

I know quite a few people who find it confusing. They definitely need to work on the complexity problem before the big release.

Having said that, I'm not sure which kind of canned messages you're referring to, but if you keep getting notifications from Google+, you can turn those off in your Google+ settings. I have mine set up so that Google+ basically doesn't e-mail me at all.
