I would love to be able to knit, I've was never taught how. It seems to me to be the ideal activity to keep my hands busy when watching a dvd in bed at night (I usually have a rubiks cube or some similar puzzle thingy on my night stand for that purpose).

Might go by the bookstore tomorrow and see if they have Knitting for Dummies or something similar. There's a knitting store across the canal to get supplies from.

I have been CRAZY busy doing long-term substitute teaching at my daughter's elementary school and taking online courses for my teacher's license recertification. My second course ended yesterday so I have a bit more free time now. I've been checking in to MR occasionally but not really posting. I'm trying to learn how to create and edit epub files but I keep running in to road blocks, all of which is taking a lot of my free time. Thank goodness there are so many helpful and patient members here who have been helping me.
