having really bad problems getting the wi-fi to work.
can't save my wi-fi settings and scan doesn't pick it up.

Strange, beta version made no problems with WiFi. Did you start from 2.0.6?

yeah, I had 2.06 installed.................finally just gave up and put everything back the way it was..................I'll wait until they get it more stable. It doesn't seem worth it to me.............I messed with it without the wi-fi and it just isn't worth it to me without being able to use the wi-fi

I had downloaded the beta, and had a problem with my wireless, it would not work at all and I went into privacy in settings and reset to factory and it worked. I had to re-install my apps and books, but if you have them backed up first you shouldn't have a problem.

thanks for that! I just got everything back to "normal" with 2.06 so I'll give it a week and try again.
Another question...............using the built in reader, is there anyway to change the fonts? I'd like to use Bold for these old eyes, but I can't figure out how to do it. There are about 6 fonts in the fonts folder and I can't use them.

I am also having issue with wifi with the latest firmware 2.1.1. I had 2.0.6 installed before. So I am not sure what the problem is and how to fix it.
I will spend some more time and try to fix it tonight, if all else fails, I will have to reset to factory setting or revert to the old firmware.
Any one has the similiar problem and was able fix it , please post your solution.

Is this firmware only meant for PB 701? The PDF seems to hint so as it's entitled

I also noticed something else..................now, after reverting back to 2.06 and wi-fi is fine I can no longer connect to Kobo on it. all I get is server timed out. Kobo is working on it. But I'm now wondering if it's because I have a Locked wi-fi connection.

Thanks for the advice, I had problems with wifi after update to 2.1.1, resetting to factory took care of the problem. I just reloaded my apps and books and it works.

The compatability check "thinks"my IQ is only Android 2.0 when installing from the SlideMe marketplace....

Reset to factory settings doesn't help....

Huge problems with v2.1.1:
Epub: no contextmenu items active except for "More"
TTS not active, will not show after pressing screen
Links in epub not working (no jumps are made)
When chosen a smaller letter, amount of pages are not recalculated
Night reading is gone, can now be dimmed
Going back to 2.0.6
