I remember -- you were getting nice older editions earlier in the thread, right? I'm afraid I'm a bit of a philistine when it comes to book paper, bindings, etc. -- I mostly don't notice unless I dislike the paper for some reason. Switching to digital was a godsend for me; I love it.

I think it's pretty normal paper. B&N used to carry it in their physical stores, if you wanted to handle one yourself.

came back from the sale with 2 more books and *gasp* one is a trade paperback. i'm still kicking myself for that, but i couldn't help it. i've been wanting to read that book for AGES.

oh, i love my ebooks too, but i have to admit, i fall pretty hard for a leather bound book

Augh... I just fell of the wagon. I've bought 13 ebooks from Diane Duane.

I've just bought the entire (so far) Young Wizards series. I've been meaning to get them for ages, and a 15% discount (code : STARLIGHTGUILT) pushed me over the edge.

I also got the current three novels and novella in her Middle Kingdoms series.

I've read most of the Young Wizards series. I have personally signed first editions of the first three books. I just couldn't resist the ebooks any longer.

I haven't read her Middle Kingdoms books yet. But I've liked all her other books that I've read. I'm torn between reading them now, or waiting for the hopefully soon-to-be-promised fourth book to actually be finished (or at least well under way).

It was 42 days since I last bought an ebook. It's now 0 days. Not too bad. A shame I fell so badly. Let's see if I can get to September without buying any more.

Not quite. I've read 25 ebooks in that time. I've only bought 13, and I've read at least four of them previously, so I've added 9 to my TBR pile, after removing 25. Not as good as I need to do, but not too bad.

I have begun downloading all the free Romance genre books in English in Manybooks.net. I have finished A-G (about 700 books). I'm going to have to give them another donation when I get done.

I also downloaded all the free ebooks on the Baen site (about 150 ebooks). This year I purchased under $20 worth in ebooks and another $50 for eMagazines. I only have $30 left in this years budget.

I'm not messed up like you people.

Most of the ebooks I get are free and anyway it don't hurt nobody.
I seen y'all at fictionwise (I'm just there to read the reviews) and Amazon and I ain't like that.

I never did use my last gift card from Borders.

The first step is to admit that you have a problem, and own up to the size of your TBR list.

Let me lead by example.

My name is pdurrant. I am an ebook buying addict. My TBR list currently stands at over 420. I last bought an ebook just today.
