Yes, the amazing thing about them is everyone just looks so normal, as if they were wearing their national costume and yet it is all Miyake. And the colors are also just so right.

One day I'll wear his clothes exclusively and nothing else.

The pics through Morocco look great, but I'm not feeling any of the other countries. For everyday, I prefer clothes that are more grounded, less Jetson's. However, I loved that blue sweater; it struck a perfect balance, IMHO.

Are you sure it's a 'him,' and not a 'her?' The 'ko' ending of the surname is usually indicative of a female, and Yuriko is a very common girl's name.

I may have it wrong, but I think the photographer is Yuriko Takagi, and the designer is Issey Miyake. So yes, he's a he. And she's a she.

That makes more sense. Issey is a male name. Yuriko is a female name.

Jetsons? Bummer! For me it looks grounded because you can put it on virtually everyone and it looks natural on them IMO.

And it is the easiest to care for in the world. Just wash it. It dries in an hour, no ironing, never wrinkles other than the pleats. Ideal travel wear.

I hate Crocs. They are ugly and should really be banned from public life.

I kind of live in leather ballerina flats. Thin soles? So? They look pretty and I can always add insoles. The downside is the shoes get a little too tight to be worn comfortably (especially since I wear socks for ballerina flats), but I still wear them.

Once in a while, I get colourful PVC sandals and heels so high I would break my neck should I fall in them.

On jeans, I no longer have blue ones but black and grey ones from Uniqlo. My favourite bottoms these days has to be the boyfriend capri pants, because they can be dressed up and down quite easily.

I also love dresses, both mini and maxi and the in-between.

Ugh, my uni will make us wear uniform soon, and students are welcome to send their designs. My complaint is, why does everyone just design jupes for girls?? I don't want to wear jupe to go to school! Try riding bicycle/motorbike wearing jupe, you'll know what I mean...

Why don't you ask for culottes/pantskirts? They look like skirts and behave like pants. You can easily argue they were created for riding horseback/bicycles at a time when women wore no pants

Ask? Ask who? For what?

The point is, the uniform is chosen based on the poll's result (as I know). And 90% of the students in my uni are girly girls. That's why I'm pretty sure we will all have to wear skirt/jupe...

Of course it's a good advice of yours. I'll complain hard. I'll shout at their faces. If there is a 'dislike' button on Facebook I'll hit it.

Sometimes I really hate to be a girl.

You said students are welcome to send in their designs. So send a culotte design. Maybe they and your fellow students like it. There are also skorts today, shorter with a skirt front and a shorts underneath. Do a bit of research and put a little effort in. It is always easier to complain when everything is decide but being part of the process is waaayy better even if it does not have the outcome you desired!

Dresses are fun, but definitely not when you to ride a bike. I hope the uniform turns out OK

I'm no designer

However, I'm provoking the crowd a bit, hopefully they would make the bottom part optional: skirt or pants, it's up to us. Hopefully.
