Well, if y'all can't make it all the way out to KK's, you can come here. Temp is currently 61 degrees F. Windows open, fans going, but no a/c necessary. Highs in the high 70's - low 80's with reasonable humidity for the next few days.

It's raining and looking at the rain-radar it doesn't look like it'll stop soon. There also a warning that it's going to get very windy. Somehow I don't think it'll be busy in the store today.

Some wind and foggy, maybe a drizzle. But the fall weather will last a while... Wonder when summer will start...

We only got a couple of sprinkles last night at the Durham coop.

But the good news is -- It was under 80 F this morning when I got up at 6:00!!!!
I could open the deck door and let the cats have their morning sniff!

And a high today below 90 F!!!
(OK a high of 88 - 89 F -- but worth celebrating!)

'tis hot and really really humid and somewhat cloudy right now (just got done raining AGAIN). Supposed to be around 97F and sunny later today.

LOL ... it's funny, to me BBQ means BEEF. Here, though, apparently like in the Carolinas, BBQ means pork. Chicken is merely an afterthought when it comes to BBQ for me...sorry Pooh!
