Wow, haven't read any E.E. Doc Smith since I was a child... may have to try and track down the Lensmen series again. Classic space opera.

Juggling between:

Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson book 7 "Reapers Gale"

Just finished "Return of the Crimson Guard" by Ian C. Esslemont (part of the Malazan expanded universe) next "Stonewielder"

The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher book 5 "Death Masks"

The Southern Vampire Mysteries series (Sookie Stackhouse) book 1 "Dead Until Dark"

aaand just for the heck of it a quick sit-down read of The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway.

Yeah, the Dresden series is fun! Ghost Story comes out really soon and there's some sample chapters out I believe.

I am reading fallen. a very confused book about angels. i think the writer wanted some of the twilight action. its actually painful to read. i like how the author splits the first person perspective between the two main protagonist, but she is trying too hard at it.

The answer this thread is that as we answer the question, there is only one answer. We are RIGHT NOW reading the MobileRead forum.

We already have a thread for what books we are reading. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10108

Given that there is only one answer, I think this thread can be done with.

this thread keeps it limited to kobo readers and what books they're currently reading on their kobo.
i think it should stay. i frequent both reading threads all the time to see what new / old books people are reading and have purchased a bunch of books because of these threads.

I'm reading the Mortal Instruments series too...I'm on City of Glass. Also Wolf Hall and a bunch of library books. I'm thinking of buying the 4 book George RR Martin series...does it have any of the problems the Kindle edition supposedly had...TOC linked to the 4th book only, lots of errors, etc.?

I agree this is a kobo only thread from what I can see. If others want to weigh in on what they are reading I see no harm in it.
