I'm trying to figure out why the kitten is leaving little puddles everywhere in the house ... Is there a cat psychologist in the room?

Maybe hasn't had a role model (Mum) to show her what to do?

Oh, she knows what the litter box is for. She leaves little puddles in the litter box(es) too. I don't know whether she's doing it on purpose or because she can't control herself ... I think I'm going back to the vet is the problem doesn't solve itself soon.

Immediate thoughts:
1. Bladder infection - any blood in the puddles?
2. Psychological - either marking territory or fright?
3. Any friction observed at the litter box with Sushi?

Have you seen her leaving a puddle? Are they hidden or out in the open?

To be fair to her, she has had a lot of upheaval in her little life so far, and probably just needs time to settle in. It might also be about marking territory, though that tends to be more of a male thing.

There's no blood, it's just very clear liquid. She uses all the litter boxes, and Sushi doesn't seem to mind her using his. But he does watch her all the time when she's in one of the boxes. I seperated her and Sushi when I was out earlier today, and when I came home I couldn't find any puddles. But then she started again.

Yes, that's what I was thinking too, excitement or fear. Hopefully it'll get better soon. But I want to rule out bladder infection anyway, so a visit to the vet would probably be good for my peace of mind.

Now that we have "only" two cats, the kitten urge is getting strong. My sister in law, Amy, kept talking about the adorable kitten they saw on the way to Chris's birthday party, and that her husband is insisting they are going to get. Between Iri here, and Amy.....
I must resist...I must resist.... I don't have time to babysit a kitten, the older two would hate it (at least for a while)....I must resist.... but they're SO DARN CUTE!!!!

This sounds like fear/anxiety piddling. But a visit to the vet is in order too.

I must admit she does use the litter box quite a lot as well. And a strong urge to pee is one of the symptoms of bladder infection.

A visit to the vet will be more stress for her of course. I have to work until thursday this week, so I'm going to keep them seperated during the day, and putting them together under my supervision during the evening. That should give her some time to get a little more used to the new surroundings. The soonest I can go to the vet is wednesday anyway, so maybe (fingers crossed) the problem has solved itself by then.
