i've never felt so helpless in my life. my best friend is packing her things. she's coming out to her parents and expect to get kicked out, and i can't do a thing about it because she's in the US and i'm here.

about 4 months is a good age to put them on a regular diet. the pet food manufacturers just want to make sure they get as much money as possible out of you, that is why they want you to feed kitten food for a year

That's what I thought. They are 8 months old, so I think it's time for a change in diet.

On a more serious note, sorry to hear about your friend's troubles wynd. It takes courage to stand up for oneself and I for one think her courage is admirable.

It's possible. I would hope not for that though.

I and my ex have had some issues with my daughter and she's been kicked out of both our houses at different times, but generally for behavior and not following rules of the house.

That is in some parts true, but Amazon still has a very inflexible shipping system when it comes to shipping Kindle-items abroad. And $20 dollar for a charger is quite pricey.

Why is it that these items can only be sent by VIP shipment? These shipments cost a bundle compared to the normal shipping charges.

I didn't ask for this VIP shipment in the first place, but when it comes to Kindle items it is the only available option. This is not helping Amazon sell accessories because who would want to buy some accessory when you end up paying more for the shipping than the actual value of the item.

Yes - I've moved Stella to adult food at 7 months - she seems to have stopped growing in length and is putting on some belly fat.

Cats dig in their nails when they vomit - hence the preference for carpet or rug over wood flooring. Are they having hair ball problems? If so, get some Laxatone, or other product, to lube them up so the hair slides on through.

Our vet said that keeping kittens on kitten food for a full year just creates fat cats. Too much fat & carbs in the kitten chow.

There's no hair in the vomit, so I don't think so. I'm a bit worried that it's from eating poisoned ants

. I put some ant powder down recently, as they always become a problem in the summer, and have caught the cats at the back door a few times recently watching intently as the little buggers scurry around. I haven't actually seen them eat any, though, and am keeping the utility door closed now to stop them going to the back door...

Phew! Right, next pack of catfood will be of the adult variety. We've been looking forward to that, actually, as you can get it in gravy - all the kitten food here is in jelly.
