Had a massive rainstorm last night. I thought the house was going to float away or the very least the basement get flooded again....neither happened, but my cat which never wants anything to do with anyone human or cat alike...stuck to me like glue, followed me around like a dog.....

We just got back from a nice bike ride through the mountains, but one of my favorite roads was sort of closed (there was a barricade and it said 'road washed out') that took a bit of fancy riding to get passed. We had some severe storms last week, but I didn't think they were THAT severe!

There's an alleged "cold" front moving across us today, which will be followed by dry HOT high pressure. So ...
The good news: lower humidity levels
The bad news: temps back into the upper 90's F -> over 100 F

The wind is still playing havoc here. The radio reported that humidity was 98%. Sure doesn't feel humid. The cold wind must blow it so fast you don't notice it. 16°C

A pleasant 7c. No wind. But am unsure how much longer I will be able to afford the pleasant electric heating. (I'll save that for a rant later)

Temps all this week in upper 90's to 100+ F! Humidity did drop a bit - so you can go outside without immediately wanting to puke.
