Request cannot register new pocket edge

I am getting an error when attempting to register my new pocket edge "error: Network connection error. Please try again. Code 80"
What does this mean and how can I get beyond this...attempting to register for Adobe.
Any assitance appreciated.

It appears that the enTourage site is down. Could it be that too many people tried to register all at once??

If this is like other outages in the past it will be over soon and you will be able to register normally. Meanwhile, if you want to skip registering for now, try these tips: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=141898.

I'm in the same boat as you. Just go my edge today and I'm very excited to start exploring it (and looking forward to digging through the wealth of info in this forum).

But right now, I'm hanging out at the register screen and I don't know what I should do next -- turn it off? try to abort the registration?

Welcome, Lisa and Darth!

The enTourage registration website is just down. It's a temporary problem (I hope!). Meanwhile, if you follow the directions Gunner posted in this link https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=141898 you should be able to skip registration for now and get on with the important business of trying out your ne PEs!

You will be able to register later, once the website is back up.

The Entourage Store no longer exists. The company is out of business. Please visit my Resource Sticky which will help you setup simple functions on your eDGe. Also, I recommend you browse this forum as there are many other new owners who have gone through your frustration but once they got past the initial setup they actually enjoy their eDGe.

Their website is down because the company is out of business. This is NOT, repeat NOT a temporary issue. The site WILL NOT be coming back up. The only way to bypass registration is mentioned a couple replies above this one, or search - its all over this forum.

You have to do the 4 corner touch to bypass registration.
