Revdanica Dictionaries
I believe the http://xdxf.revdanica.com/down/index.php dictionary site is down. Does anyone know if it has moved or if something else similar is available? Thanks for the help ahead of time.

I'm holding my reading of Dante, Ariosto and Petrarca for when I'm fluent in italian...
![]() that's the only way to read poetry: to learn the language they were written in. Too bad I'm right now trying my best at french and latin... hopefully classic italian is closer to its roots. ![]() Gotta admit the only modern italian literature name I'm used to is Umberto Eco. And, uh, Liberatore and Tamburini... ![]() |

I would dare to suggest you to read Calvino. A great European novel is La Coscienza di Zeno by Italo Svevo. And if you want to try some hard Italian, try Carlo Emilio Gadda. A very easy one is Guareschi. My wife is reading Lessico Familiare by Natalia Ginzburg. She is ecstatic with it. I also love Primo Levi. |

I'm learning Italian, although I'm don't have a large vocabulary yet. But I read 'De bekentenissen van Zeno' by Italy Svevo in Dutch, so maybe that will be manageable for me! |

Just for reference, I am going to post here Italian ebooks in Italian that in my very modest opinion could be interesting to somebody who wants to practice reading in Italian.

![]() Can I also add to your list two freebies: http://www.ibs.it/ebook/ser/serpge.asp?grts=y the "Fu Mattia Pascal" is probably for more proficient readers of Italian, but nevertheless beautiful. NO clue about "Viva Las Vegas", but it's free ![]() Real pity that IBS do not stock any of Primo Levi's book in EPUB (indeed, I could only find two books, both pdf). |
